  • It’s one of the rare sets of true wireless earphones to support aptX

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earphones are big, yet not too heavy

If the answer is as much as it is, then take a look at Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless. The Momentum range is also known to anyone, who follows the Sennheiser, represents their premium products that bring designs, features and performance together.

Momentum True Wireless costs Rs. 24,990, which is actually much higher than all other products in the wireless segment, which we have reviewed till date.

Is it really the gold standard of wireless earphones, as the price shows, or is it a lot of money for a big brand name? Learn in our review of Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earphones.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless design and specifications

In fact, like every other pair of wireless earphones, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless has two earbuds and a case of charging and charging them when not in use.

The sales package includes a USB Type-C cable to charge the case, and the total four pair of earpits with the manual.

All ear pieces are made of silicon; At this price, we expect that the futuristic earrings will also be included in the box. What's more, we did not get a good fit from any pair of four pairs, although your mileage could obviously be different.

Sinbadar Momentum True Wireless's earbuds are bigger than other options in this segment, but there are plastics casing which, in most cases of usage, have enough light to live in your ears.

The instruction booklets recommended that we rotate the buds in place, and help it to make a comfortable, noisy fit, even though the earpieces are less-than-ideal.

Unlike the slim and compact Nokia True Wireless Earbands, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earphones appear quite clearly, which get out of the ears.

The outer ends of earbuds have a metallic finish, which is done with the pattern of concentric circles and the Injector logo is engraved at the center.

These panels are sensitive to touch, and you can use them to control playback and volume, answer or reject calls, or trigger a voice assistant on your phone - with both feature serials and Google Assistant Works.

Controls are a bit complicated, and we often trigger wrong commands because we can not tapping for a particular action or remember the number of correct earbuds. Over time, we got used to the control plan.

Adjusting the volume was the most convenient, but to go to the next or previous track, we found it very easy to access our source device. Each hole has microphone holes on the buttons, enabling hands-free access.

The sensor Momentum True Wireless Earbuds have contact points for charging, status indicator lights, and sensors in the internal surfaces, which are used to apply and restart automatic pauses on removing and inserting earbuds in your ears. .

Removing both the buds also keeps the music paused, but it will not start again until we return both of them. This feature worked fairly well, and we found it useful when we needed to quickly talk about someone's feelings or to talk to someone.

A similarity to Nokia True Wireless Earbands is the fact that only the right earbud can be used; The left person needs to be active to get an audio signal and on the right to connect to the source device.

It also meant that the correct earbud battery will be a bit faster - something we confirmed through the Confusion Smart Control app, which shows the level of different battery level of each earbud as the exact percentage.

The app is available for both Android and iOS - as well as allowing us to twitter the equalizer settings and enable some interesting features.

Transparent hearing mode activates the microphone and allows external sounds to play through earphones, while you are listening to music, so you are no different from your surroundings.

Smart Pauses Function - The first feature is mentioned as a feature which prevents playback when earbuds are removed from the ear - can be disabled even through the app.

There is an interesting fabric wrap in the case of charging and storage, which we like quite well, as well as a rubber-printed sensor logo at the top.

Earbands are fully fit in size cutouts inside the case. With indicator light and battery level buttons, there is a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the hinges to charge the case.

The light is enlightened by pressing the button, but it can only indicate that the charge is above 50 percent, less than 50 percent or is empty.

It does not give too much information, and we wound up to charge the case as soon as the level fell below 50 percent, it should be on the safe side only.

Earbuds are claimed to be running for four hours and 1 hour 45 minutes to back up once charged. It is said that this case gives two additional full charges to earbuds.

During our review, we were able to exceed the usage time on earbuds, as well as running for four and a half hours prior to the need to charge them.

This case was able to easily give two full earbuds of charge, in which the runtime and cases were fully charged for 14 hours starting with earbuds.

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earphones have Bluetooth 5 support, it has a frequency range of 5-21,000 Hz, and IPX4 is rated for water resistance.

Momentum True Wireless is really a rare example of wireless earphones, with high quality aptX and aptx low latency bluetooth codecs as well as support of AAC and SBC codecs.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless performance

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earphones have a substantial reduction in the low cost of the high quality audio devices in terms of quality.

Beyond one point, the cost of improving each incremental performance goes up from a significant amount, and it seems to be inconsistent for the perceived improvement soon.

Although one thing was clear - Momentum True Wireless Earphones sound much better than any other wireless earphones we tested, even if the improvements came at a very high cost.

We mainly tested the Sanehan Momentum True Wireless Earphones as a source device with OnePlus 6T, 37999 (review), which was able to use an aptx codec for audio streaming over Bluetooth. We also added earphones to our MacBook Air to test audio quality with the SBC codec.

While the quality of the drivers and the tuning ensured good sound with the SBC codec, the actual limitation of the capabilities of the Seenijar Momentum True Wireless was heard only when using the Aptex codec.

Through both source devices listening to Marcus Marr at The Music on Spotify at almost the same volume level, the aptlus 6T stopped using aptX and was able to offer better sound isolation between the right channels, a better sound stage, tissue Base, more brightness high and a sound that was cleaner, sharper and more pronounced as audio.

The busy nature of the track, and the exciting and fast-motion interplay between the left and right channels, made it purposefully better sound when using aptX.

We found that the Sonic signature was enjoyable for all types of music, adhering to the classic V-shaped sound that brings the best of the most popular types of music.

Earbuds were also capable of loud volume When we played Iron by Woodkids, we heard the track in a new light which gave us new sensation of happiness.

If needed, the downslide was tight, yet it was punching, while the higher took the time out of the instruments in this track. In the gentle voice of Woodkid, there was a strong sense for this, feeling at home between strong high and low lows.

Moving on Disco Bowlin by DiskTron, the attack and operated nature of the Seiners Momentum True Wireless Earphones was brought out.

In the sub-bass, the punch, in this electronic disco inspired electronic disco, echoes and clearly resonates without restraining the remaining instruments or even soft-to-normal notes.

Soundtrack was particularly noticeable, the notion of direction despite the sound coming from two-channel 7mm drivers.

We also hear some high-resolution tracks to put the earphones through a bit more rigorous test, especially to see how the aptx handles high amount of audio data in these files.

One of our favorite test tracks, Concerned by the composer Aster Piazola, the sensation series of touch-tunes, did not look so good on Sony WH-1000XM3, which we currently consider as the best wireless headphones, and only its Price is Sinheyzer slightly higher than Momentum True Wireless

Small drivers on the Sennheiser earphones do not seem able to bring out all the details in this track, and it is here that Sennheiser finally shows weakness.

It is not fair to compare these two different types of headphones, but it clarifies that even the most premiums really have some limitations of wireless earphones.

The call quality was also good with Sinheyzer Momentum True Wireless Earphones, in which microphones used to do a great job of capturing our voice mostly on voice calls.

Verdict

Actually wireless earphones order a price premium, but Sennheiser takes it along with Momentum True Wireless to another level. Rupee. At 24,990, these earphones are more expensive than anything we've recently tested with proper margins.

However, this very money buys you excellent sound, and these earphones actually make the best-looking option in the wireless category, which we have given a chance to test.

There is a lot of it that goes with good drivers, including Bluetooth 5 and aptx, the last of which is still rare in this category.

Still, it is difficult to control costs. Around this price, it is possible to buy excellent ear-the-head headphones such as the Sony WH-1000XM3, which offer better sound quality and additional features such as active noise cancellation.

In fact, about Rs. 25,000 really has a large amount to pay for the convenience of wireless earphones, especially when the quality of the sound is not best for the price (when you throw in other types of headphones), and small issues with fit and on There are also board controls.

However, if you are willing to pay for the premium, you want this fit and style, and want to make as little agreement as possible on the sound quality, Sennheiser should be your top choice in this segment.

The Seinhiger Momentum True Wireless is a rare example of a headset that does not sacrifice too much sound quality for this form factor.
